In 2019, Beekenkamp Plants launched the BKX tray for seed products. After the positive tests with this tray and the company's need to continue to innovate in the field of sustainability, thorough research was conducted into additional BKX trays to also deliver the cutting products.

The idea behind the cutting BKX tray is the same as the seed BKX tray: they can be reused and therefore make a positive contribution to a better environment. Each tray has a unique RFID tag, so you know exactly which tray has been sent to which customer. This allows the company to monitor that all trays are returned, which guarantees a more sustainable cultivation process for both the grower and the entire chain.
