The total substrate height is the same as our existing, proven series of substrate troughs, creating an ideal root environment. The drainage capacity is tailored to the total volume. The foot height under the trough is also kept the same, minimizing the risk of root growth.

There are two options for the foot positions, ensuring the trough remains securely in place with gutters with a central drainage channel as well as gutters with two channels.

Besides its production applications, this trough also offers an ideal volume for growing hanging strawberry cuttings. The narrow trough has sufficient volume for cutting cultivation and minimizes light loss from the top of the greenhouse. This results in significant substrate savings.
